The Grip of Fear
Froghead, a typical climb in New Paltz, New York. If you look closely, you will see a climber, Tony Scordino, leading this climb. Tony is the first one up the route and he places "protection" in the rock to anchor his rope in the event of a fall. He is belayed by another climber who is at the base of the climb; that climber's job is to keep tension on the rope and lock it off in the event of a fall.
